Shangri-La joins fine dining giant Chaîne des Rôtisseurs

cdrThe Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is an international gastronomic society devoted to promoting fine dining and preserving the camaraderie and pleasures of the table with a strong commitment to the power of taste. Shangri-La Country Hotel, located between Bela Bela and Modimolle in the Limpopo Province, has recently joined this pristine membership boasting a typical bushveld menu with Gueridon service available on its new sundeck leading off the promenade.

Chef Nicolas Makwesa heads the team of talented Chefs constantly looking for creative and interesting cuisine from the local produce. Barry’s Bar has a wide variety of international cocktails to choose from including the signature “Nutcracker”.

Shangri-La’s Heritage Restaurant participating in Restaurant Week 2013

sldin01Shangri-La Country Hotel’s Heritage Restaurant has joined the annual international event Restaurant Week South Africa.

Restaurant Week South Africa will be held nationwide for the first time, after it has been successfully organized in cities like New York, London and Shanghai. The official partners are American Express, SAfm, Peroni, Good Fellas, Master Menus and SO WIFI. The South African Chefs Association is the charity partner and part of the revenue will be donated to their World Chefs Tour Against Hunger fund.
