The employees of Elephant Springs and the South of Africa Head Office participated in an enlightening fire prevention training earlier this month. Hosted by the local Fire Department, training was given to show the team how to deal with the outbreak of fires, which materials and equipment to use in the case of such events, and also which action to take.
According to HR manager Khatija Mahomed, the training was extremely important for all. “This not only keeps the team’s knowledge on fire prevention fresh in their minds, but also shows them their important roles in this industry. Their skills could potentially safe the lives of many guests and prevent serious damage to property. We’re grateful to have been trained by the local professionals.”
